Led by Interventionist Kate Webster and her team, Lighthouse Recovery Services provides compassionate invitational intervention programmes for families and employers, focusing on the whole system that may be unintentionally enabling active addiction to continue.
We believe every human is naturally creative resourceful and whole and all of our programmes reflect that. Together our team of Interventionists, Therapists and Recovery Coaches create a bespoke intervention programme for each client, built around your individual needs.
An invitational addiction intervention is a structured and non-confrontational approach to helping someone struggling with addiction.
Unlike traditional interventions where the person is often surprised and confronted, an invitational intervention is non shaming and collaborative. There are no secret meetings or ambushes, the addicted person is invited to the Educational workshop and included in the process without confrontation, respectfully and with compassion.

Family Intervention
At its most basic Intervention is about re-establishing a healthy respectful and loving connection between the addicted person and their loved ones.
With Invitational Intervention, we move a level deeper, to address the entire family environment that may be unintentionally enabling the addiction to continue. We recognize that for the addicted person to have any hope of long-term Recovery and a fulfilling family life, what needs to be treated is a disease affecting a complete circle of family and friends – not just the addicted person.

Executive Intervention
CEOs and executives can avoid many of the damaging consequences of addiction. Money, status, influence and the ability to manipulate others can mask many developing issues before they become problems, compounding the denial of the individual.
Executive Intervention is a structured and closely managed process, effectively intervening on the addiction, and creating carefully managed consequences that the Executive has been able to avoid because of their position within the company.

Family Educational Workshops
At Lighthouse Recovery we are able to draw on a selected group of therapists and recovery coaches who will design a bespoke workshop aimed at educating and addressing the addiction challenges within your family system.
Our Family Addiction Educational Workshop is a safe, supportive space designed to help families navigate the challenges of loving someone struggling with addiction.
